We invite you to relax, rejuvenate, and revive your body and spirit.
The spa is located on the hillside above the lodge with amazing views across the valley towards the sea or over the pine forest to snow covered Mount Ruapehu. There are three treatment rooms (including a couple’s spa suite), changing rooms, showers, and lockers for your convenience. We offer a menu of massage styles, facials, pedicures, manicures, and hair care.

The spa is open 7 days a week and treatments are available from 10am to 7pm or by special appointment.

Appointments
Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment to allow for stress-free check-in. Your late arrival will shorten the length of your treatment. Your service needs to end on schedule as to not delay the next guest.
Cancellation Policy
Please note: Treatment times are reserved exclusively for you. A minimum of 24 hours is needed to cancel an appointment. Without this notification, you will be billed the full price of the service. If you need to change the time of your treatment within the 24-hour cancellation period, we will make every effort to accommodate your wishes but cannot guarantee the availability of a therapist.
In-Room Treatments
All of our massages and certain other treatments can be experienced within the privacy of your Cape Kidnappers guest suite. Inquire with guest reception as to which treatments are suitable for in-room service.
Comfort
The Spa is an area of relaxation and tranquillity. We ask you to refrain from using your cell phone and pager while on premises. The spa is a non-smoking area. Please do not consume alcohol prior to or immediately after your treatment as it may impair the effectiveness of your treatment.
Clothing
We provide a robe and slippers for your use.
Staff
If you have a preference for either a male or a female therapist, please inform the front desk at time of booking.
Payment of Services
Services for lodge guests will be charged to their rooms. For day guests we accept cash and all major credit cards.
Gratuities
Gratuities are not expected but may be left in appreciation of exceptional service.
Special Needs
Please communicate any special health conditions and needs to your therapist in order to maximize your enjoyment of your treatment and its benefits.
Valuables
Please leave your valuables in your guest room safe. The spa at Cape Kidnappers cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items.
Spa Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers can be purchased for a specific treatment or by dollar value.
