Our annual golf event – open to just 26 pairings, was a fabulous weekend, focused around a friendly competition over two days and 36 holes of exciting golf (Saturday + Sunday) , plus the optional and relaxing practice round (Friday) for those who arrived early.
For golf lovers, playing three days of golf in early spring at the renowned Cape Kidnappers course may have been enough enticement, but to add to this fabulous package, Queenstown-based Chef and golf enthusiast Josh Emett (who also played during the tournament) cooked the ultimate finale dinner as a highlight of the weekend on Saturday 25 October. The menu on Saturday showcased several items from Josh’s restaurant Rata- from special bread to Southland Cheese rolls and a main course of Merino Lamb.
